Why did you go into teaching?

I was blessed to have outstanding mentors and managers who taught me how to successfully carry out my job responsibilities, which helped me become a mature business professional and an accountable human being. I want to share the lessons I have learned about SCM, using both classroom and experiential learning activities outside the classroom.

What do you like about teaching?

  • Involvement with students as they transition from student to becoming a person prepared to become an SCM professional.
  • Building relationships with students and company personnel interested in recruiting students from the SCM program.
  • Sharing my professional experiences, life lessons, and answering challenging questions.
  • The personal satisfaction of giving back to others in the profession that I enjoy.
